Summary
Background
This role is working for a Local Authority
The successful candidate will be required to have a full UK driving licence or
be able to reach the first cleaning site.
The successful candidate will be shown the full route by the cleaning supervisor.
Shift Pattern:
7am till 10am – 1pm till 4pm
4 on, 4off.
Your new role
Attending and cleaning public conveniences.
To ensure that the Council public conveniences are cleaned to the required standard of hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
The post holder will be required at times to remove blood and other human waste.
The post holder will be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Always Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and to ensure a safe working area.
To lock and unlock the facility and to ensure that all keys are kept safely and that all security checks are completed as instructed.
To maintain and keep cleaning equipment in good condition.
Provide cover for attended toilets in Frinton
To assist the public to safely use the facilities.
To handle cash from the gated entry system to a safe within the premises.
To report any faults and defects to the Technical Officer.
To undertake any other duties as directed by the Technical Officer or Cleaning Supervisor.
To work on own initiative and allocate time between several sites.
