Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Charnwood to assist with the appointment of a Maintenance Joiner, on a 7-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £14.50 - £19.32 per hour

Summary:

The Maintenance Joiner will support Repairs Team Leaders in delivering high-quality responsive repairs, vacant property works, planned maintenance, gas servicing support, and compliance services in line with the Councils Management Agreement and Delivery Plan.

Responsibilities:

Carry out all types of joinery repairs, replacements, and upgrade works in domestic properties.
Undertake multi-skilled repairs across trades during peaks and troughs in demand.
Deliver responsive repairs, void property works, planned maintenance, and compliance-related repairs.
Inspect disrepair, assess repair or replacement options, and carry out appropriate remedial action.
Complete works promptly within agreed timeframes and to a high-quality standard.
Liaise effectively with other trades for coordinated service delivery.

Qualification:

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry/Joinery

Essentials:

Strong experience in joinery repairs and maintenance within a social housing or property maintenance environment.
Ability to work in a multi-skilled capacity across various repair tasks.
Good understanding of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, and Health & Safety legislation.
Experience working in occupied properties with a strong customer service focus.
Ability to diagnose faults and identify appropriate remedial solutions.
