Summary
We’re looking for flexible and reliable Catering Assistants and Cleaners to support our client site in the Groby area. This is temporary, ad-hoc work based on client daily requirements.
Position Overview
Job Titles: Catering Assistants/ Cleaners
Location: Groby, LE6
Type: Temporary, part-time, ad-hoc day shifts
Shifts: Monday to Friday, sometimes weekends
Pay: starting from £12.60 p/hr
Duties may include basic food preparation, serving meals, washing up, cleaning kitchen spaces, and helping the wider catering team maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Our client rely on staff who can adapt quickly and work well as part of a team, so a practical approach and good communication skills are important.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with food preparation and service
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
• Wash and organise utensils and equipment
• Support the catering team with daily tasks
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
Requirements
• Previous catering, hospitality, or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work in a busy environment and follow instructions
• Reliable, flexible, and able to travel to the site in early morning hours if required
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
