Ideal Candidate:
• Proven experience as a School Business Manager or as a Senior Business / Finance role.
• Confident working strategically with senior leaders and governors.
• Organised, approachable, and experienced in leading teams.
• Comfortable with IT, finance, and administrative systems.
• Knowledgeable in HR, payroll, or facilities management.
• Proactive, solution-focused, and committed to supporting a school community.
Key Responsibilities as a Business Manager:
• Lead the school’s budget, finance, and reporting to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage HR, payroll, and recruitment for support staff.
• Oversee school compliance, health & safety, and organisational systems.
• Manage school facilities, contracts, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to support school life.
• Drive improvements and solutions that enhance outcomes for staff and pupils.
