Summary
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in the B11 area of Birmingham. This is a Monday-Friday role with consistent daytime hours and weekend work.
You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers, ensuring goods are delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure road worthiness
- Complete multi-drop deliveries across the local and regional area
- Deliver palletised goods and cages to customers
- Handball will be required as part of the role
- Use pump truck and tail lift where necessary
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Provide professional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all driving laws, WTD and company procedures
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience preferred
- comfortable with handball work
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Strong customer service skills
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- 6am start - early finish
