Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated Science Teacher to join our passionate team.
This post would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher, and a part time contract or job share would be considered. While it is not essential, it is hoped that the successful candidate will be a Physics specialist.
There is a unique energy at The Priory Ruskin Academy; we are forward thinking, aspirational and dynamic but with a genuine warmth and supportive culture. We are looking for passionate individuals with a desire to support and promote outstanding education to join Ruskin’s progressive and dynamic staff team.
There are currently 12 Teachers and 2 Technicians in the department. Teaching groups are split at KS4 to allow teachers to teach their specialisms. Our students do Combined Science at KS4. Triple Science is an option for students to choose at KS4 and is an addition to their normal Science lessons. At KS5 Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Applied Science are subjects that our students can choose.
