We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant Primary Phase team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an all-through school where children’s learning journeys are supported seamlessly from early years to post-16.
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in raising the attainment and aspirations of our pupils. You will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences and be confident in leading whole-class learning when required. You will cover for the class teacher as and when required and will complement the professional work of teaching staff by taking responsibility for designated learning activities with pupils. You will be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people and will follow school protocols and help others to secure them in school.
The successful candidate will have a HLTA qualification or equivalent with experience in a primary setting and a strong understanding of child development.
