We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our well-established and highly supportive EPRR Team. This varied and rewarding role will see you contribute to emergency preparedness, training, multi-agency exercising and incident response across the Trust.
As part of our innovative and collaborative team, you will help embed a culture of preparedness and continuous improvement, supporting staff at all levels to understand their role in responding to emergencies and major incidents. You will also have the opportunity to support Tactical Commanders during incidents as your confidence develops.
We are committed to professional growth and support continuing development, specialist training and relevant courses. A structured induction and shadowing period will be provided, including supported exposure to on-call responsibilities. You will not be expected to undertake on-call duties immediately and will join the rota once you feel confident and fully supported.
This role is ideal for an energetic individual who enjoys working across teams, building partnerships and contributing to meaningful organisational resilience.

As a key member of our established and supportive EPRR Team, you will help ensure the Trust is prepared to respond effectively to emergencies and major incidents.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the development and review of emergency and major incident plans
• Assisting in the design and delivery of EPRR training sessions and awareness briefings for staff across the organisation
• Supporting the planning and evaluation of exercises, including multi-agency activity
• Contributing to assurance processes to maintain compliance with the NHS EPRR standards
• Working with clinical and corporate teams to embed preparedness and resilience across services
• Supporting incident response activity, including Tactical Commanders and post-incident learning
You will analyse information, identify themes and help implement improvements following exercises and incidents.
This varied role involves working with colleagues across the Trust and with external partners to strengthen organisational resilience.
A structured induction and shadowing period will support your development, including gradual introduction to on-call responsibilities. You will join the on-call rota following a supported development period and demonstration of competence
