Summary
We're looking for a Project Manager for an 18-month fixed term to join our fabulous PMO team here at Platform Housing Group, the largest social housing association in the Midlands, but we're much more than just houses; we build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of our customers.
Working with us is more than just a job, you will be joining an amazing organisation that values you and your contribution, and in this role, you'll be joining our Enterprise PMO team to manage the Strategic Procurement Project in our Assets Transformation Programme.
In this role will be responsible for a multi workstream project working with internal and external stakeholders and colleagues from across the business. The project will procure and implement new contracts for our newly formed property directorate and you will be working closely with our commercial and procurement teams ensuring that timelines and resources are managed effectively.
You will be accountable for all aspects of project management including all project resources (including partners/subcontractors), project planning, scheduling, risk management, scope management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management.
Some of the things we are looking for:
-Project management experience is essential
-The ability to manage multiple timelines and organise concurrent activities to achieve milestones
-Excellent interpersonal skills including collaboration and negotiation and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
-Previous experience of working in procurement / housing / asset management or contract management would be advantageous but not essential
While this role offers the flexibility of being home-based, occasional travel to Group offices and other locations, including Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester, is required.
