Summary
The post holder will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that goods and materials are well-managed, well-maintained and in the right place at the right time. Were looking for someone with good communication skills, both within the team and with clinical users (UEL customers). The successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail, as well as some experience in utilising complex IT and data platforms that are used in the hospital acute care sector. The team will liaise with third-party suppliers and Wessex NHS Procurement Limited to ensure that products are available. They will assist and guide team members, helping with product familiarisation and store organisation, ultimately contributing to clinical efficiency and excellent patient care and experience. Alongside this, we are looking for a conscientious, hard-working team player to join our team at UEL. Good IT skills and good communication skills will be essential, as well as the ability to organise your workload in a logical way. You will need to be reliable, be able to work under pressure and be able to motivate yourself and others. The ability to prioritise tasks and escalate where there are risks to services is also important.
