Summary
Job objectives and responsibilitiesOperating a forklift, including loading and unloading containers and lorries, and moving large items around site.Supporting the Mitie Grounds maintenance where required, Supporting all waste-stream activities, including using tow truck to transport wheelie bins, operating compactors, and using Maximo as well.Assisting with office moves and manual handling tasks. Escorting Mitie contractors while on site, Working closely with the on-site maintenance and cleaning team, Driving and general delivery duties.
Person Specification
Qualifications required.Counterbalance fork lift truck license (ideally with in the last 3 years)and A current clean driving license.Additional optional qualificationsAny waste or environmental training (although this is given as part of Mitie's mandatory training and site-specific training,IPAF 3a & 3b license - nice to have,Experience in waste environmental or services or similar environment.
