Join Our Finance Team at The Compleat Food Group!

We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for Group Tax Assistant Accountant to join us, based at our site in Redhill!

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Group Tax Manager, supporting the oversight of the Group’s tax
compliance, strategy, and reporting, whilst ensuring full adherence to relevant tax legislation. At Compleat, no two days are the

Working Hours:

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30am – 5pm, and 8.30pm – 4pm on Fridays

We also offer Hybrid and flexible working.

Your Duties Will Include:

* Tax audit support – gathering relevant information and liaising with the tax advisors & auditors
* Corporation tax filing support - gathering relevant information and liaising with the stakeholders in Central/Site Finance,
* Support with Corporation Tax forecasting - quarterly instalment payments
* Support with monitoring tax payment deadlines and obligations,
* Monitor changes in legislation and ensure compliance,
* Identify tax-saving opportunities, such as tax credits, deductions, and incentives
* Reporting: Calculating tax provisions for management accounts, financial statements, and budgets, plus preparing tax
disclosures.
* Support with deferred tax calculation
* Support with the Group Simplification exercise
* ERP VAT set up testing support
* Supporting Group Tax Manager with risk management: Identifying and mitigating tax risks, maintaining group transfer pricing
documentation, and monitoring intercompany agreements




Your Skills and Experience:

* Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA)
* Strong numerical, technical, and analytical skills
* Excellent communication to explain complex tax issues to non-tax professionals
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work to tight deadlines
* 1-3 years of experience, working within a group tax function (In-house)
* Good knowledge of using excel and MS Sheets
* Team player
