Are you motivated and passionate about making a difference to patient care?
Would you like to be part of a close knit, friendly, professional team and are looking for a rewarding change in direction with an effective work life balance?
Surgical Admissions Lounge is a nurse led department and we strive for excellence and are passionate about the quality of care we deliver to our patients. Due to the gradual restart of services and the ongoing transformation of the department and the elective admissions process, we are looking to recruit a Band 5 nurse to join our team.
You will work as part of the nursing team, ensuring our patients are prepared safely for theatre and receive high standards of care from the very start of their hospital journey. Your main role will be preparing a caseload of patients for surgery, without direct supervision and managing the department in the absence of senior staff.
We look forward to your application.
You will:
• Work proactively to ensure that Theatre utilisation is optimised
• Maintain and develop our existing processes
• Promote and deliver a high quality, patient focused service
• Carry out regular auditing to ensure high levels of care are maintained.
