About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team for ad-hoc single deliveries across Gloucester and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for drivers who prefer a straightforward driving route without multi-drop work or heavy lifting. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods to customers while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
This position offers flexibility for drivers who want ad-hoc shifts and the choice between PAYE or Umbrella payment options.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently for single deliveries
•
Ensure goods are delivered on time, in full, and in excellent condition
•
Complete delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately
•
Plan and follow the most efficient routes
•
Communicate professionally with customers and the dispatch team
•
Report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly
Requirements:
•
Valid Class 1 driving license
•
Proven experience with Class 1 deliveries
•
Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations
•
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
•
Flexibility to take ad-hoc shifts
•
Professional attitude and good communication skills
