This post is suitable for a B5 OT looking to advance to B6, who wishes to gain a wider experience in acute care by rotating every 9m to a different clinical speciality and who wants to learn and understand more about leadership and management. There is regular clinical supervision as well as peer support. There are also opportunities for involvement in audit, research & service development is always encouraged as we strive for new & innovative ways of working. Please ensure you fulfil all the essential criteria and have read the job description before applying. Essential skills: Postgraduate experience of working across several clinical areas/rotations in the acute setting, demonstrating a broad knowledge base. Postgraduate experience in assessment, provision and fitting of specialist/complex equipment Evidence of day-to-day supervision and management of B2-4 staff, or evidence of being named supervisor to therapy students on placements Clear expressed reasoning to work in this rotational B6 OT post within UHS Desirable skills needed: Postgraduate involvement in audit/research/clinical project/service development Evidence of providing teaching to therapy staff and students Understanding of complex equipment needs including managing pressure care Training and support can be offered to meet your learning requirements. Please note: Interviews will be held on 16th March, with face-to-face interviews only due to a practical interview component.
