About Sport and Future Initiatives (SFI)
Sport and Future Initiatives (SFI) is a discreet, relationship-led business operating at the
intersection of sport, culture, finance, and media. We support sportspeople in their
post-career journeys and develop a range of high-profile projects spanning sport,
entrepreneurship, and social impact.
We are a small but growing organisation with an ambitious agenda and a hands-on working
style. This role sits close to the heart of the business and plays an important part in
supporting labour-intensive, detail-heavy projects as they move from concept to execution.

The Role
This is not a conventional Executive Assistant role. It carries real responsibility and requires
sound judgement and discretion. It suits someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being
trusted with meaningful responsibility.
Working closely with the founder, you will help ensure projects remain “match-ready” through
preparation, research, coordination, and follow-through. You’ll be expected to work both
reactively and proactively — anticipating needs, organising information, and taking initiative
rather than waiting for instruction.
The role may suit:
● A graduate or early-career professional seeking exposure to high-level projects
● A career-changer looking for flexible, purposeful work
● Someone semi-retired with strong organisational skills and sound judgement
We welcome applications from candidates at different career stages who bring maturity,
initiative, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
● Provide day-to-day administrative support across the business
● Help organise and maintain clear systems, documents, and workflows
Research & Preparation
● Conduct detailed research (e.g. Companies House, trademark registers, public
records)
● Collate information clearly and accurately to support decision-making

Communication Management
● Manage emails, calls, and correspondence professionally and discreetly
● Set up and coordinate meetings and calls
Document & Presentation Support
● Draft, edit, and format documents, presentations, and reports
● Prepare clear, easy-to-navigate spreadsheets and trackers
Scheduling & Coordination
● Organise diaries, meetings, and occasional travel arrangements
● Support coordination across multiple concurrent projects
Confidentiality
● Handle sensitive information, client names, and communications with absolute
discretion
● Maintain trust, integrity, and professionalism at all times

About You
● Highly organised, self-directed, and resourceful
● Comfortable working independently and using initiative
● Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail
● Confident written and verbal communicator
● Pragmatic, discreet, and adaptable
● Confident using digital tools (email, spreadsheets, document sharing platforms) and
comfortable working remotely.

Knowledge of social media and digital platforms is helpful but not essential. As SFI grows,
the scope of the role may evolve beyond the responsibilities listed here.

Working Pattern
This is a part-time role of 15 – 25 hours per week, with flexibility around:
● Working from home
● Regular in-person meetings
● Some evening or weekend availability, by agreement
● While flexible, reliability during agreed working hours is essential.
