As a Security Officer with ISS, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment through both frontline presence and Security Control Centre (SCC) support.
Job Overview
Working on a rotational shift basis, you will assist the SCC Supervisor in the effective monitoring and management of security systems, helping to protect our customer’s people, property, and assets.
You will support the compliant delivery of all SCC functions, including the remote monitoring of CCTV, intruder detection systems, access control, and other security services, ensuring high standards of vigilance, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
The Role
Monitoring security systems and site activity from the SCC
Remaining alert to suspicious behaviour and responding appropriately
Preventing unauthorised access and ensuring site safety
Supporting security officers and remote sites, including welfare monitoring
Building positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
Adhering to Health & Safety procedures and reporting any breaches
Working effectively both independently and as part of a wider security team
About You
Previous security experience
A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA licence
Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
A team player with good customer service skills
New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
