About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Caretaker/Handyperson to maintain four managed office and industrial sites in Bradford, 2 in BD1 2 in BD4. You’ll handle general maintenance tasks including but not limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, and repairs, ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
2 days per week (14hrs total) days to be agreed Monday to Friday
Carry out routine repairs and maintenance (carpentry, painting, plumbing, general handyperson tasks).
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Inspect buildings to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Install and maintain fixtures, furniture, doors, locks, and light fittings.
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Coordinate with external contractors for larger projects.
Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Experience in general maintenance or handyperson work.
Skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs.
Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Physically fit and capable of manual tasks.
Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
