Summary
We are currently recruiting for a skilled upholsterer for a bespoke furniture company based in Wakefied, WF4.
This is a permanent role, and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, expanding company at their brand new, modern workshop.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Upholster bed frames and headboards to a luxury standard.
- Work with a variety of premium fabrics, including linen, velvet, and boucle.
- Ensure a clean and high-quality finish, balancing efficiency and precision.
- Work from order sheets and collaborate with the production team.
- Handle both standard designs and occasional custom orders.
- Use general upholstery tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a tidy and organised workspace in our modern facility.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure the final product meets brand standards.
- Any other tasks to complete the job (packing, loading etc)
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years in an upholstery role (preferably in luxury furniture).
- Strong upholstery techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work with different fabrics.
- Experience with general upholstery tools.
- Prior experience in a luxury or design-oriented brand is preferred but not essential.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 09.00am-18.00pm
- Overtime available
- Some Saturdays may be required
