We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for delivering exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
-Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a courteous check-in experience
-Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
-Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy
-Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
-Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
-Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
-Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary
-Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements
-Previous experience in hotel reception or hospitality is preferred but not essential
-Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
-Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous
-Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
-Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
-Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
-Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine commitment to guest service excellence
