Summary
Job Title: Senior Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Local School – Outwood, Wakefield
Hours: 6am-8am and 15.15-18.15.. Working 25 hours per week
Pay: £13 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at a local school in Outwood, Wakefield.
This is a key leadership role requiring a confident and experienced individual who can manage the day-to-day running of a cleaning contract while leading and supporting a team of cleaners and an on-site supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily cleaning operations to ensure high standards are maintained
Leading, motivating, and supporting the cleaning team
Supervising the on-site supervisor and providing guidance where needed
Organising rotas and ensuring adequate cover
Conducting regular quality checks and audits
Monitoring sickness and managing absence reporting
Ordering and monitoring cleaning stock and supplies
Stepping in to assist with cleaning duties when required (e.g., sickness cover)
Maintaining a positive, team-focused working environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior supervisory role (cleaning sector preferred)
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Ability to manage standards and performance effectively
Enhanced DBS required (we can assist in obtaining one if necessary)
