We now have opportunities for x3 Parenting Assessors and x1 Case Progression Officer to work within the Family Safeguarding Service. The roles are non-case holding.
The Parenting Assessor roles can be completed remotely.
The Case Progression Officer will be required to undertake a level of office based working.
Parenting Assessors (Qualified Social Workers) x3
Non case holding. Undertake high-quality, evidence-based parenting assessments to inform safeguarding and permanence decisions. Produce clear analytical reports for court and care planning, working to statutory timescales and supporting robust professional decision-making for children and families.
Case Progression Officer (Qualified Social Workers) x1
Non case holding. Drive timely progression of pre-proceedings and care proceedings, ensuring strong evidence, clear care planning, and effective liaison with legal services and partner agencies, supporting high quality assessments and outcomes for children.
Must have 3 years PQE in a permanent setting
Swindon Borough Council has confirmed that the £100 weekly travel and accommodation expenses will remain in place for all new and existing agency placements within Children’s Social Care
