About the Role
We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic Support Worker to join our friendly team in Totton, supporting four wonderful people in their home — two gentlemen and two ladies aged between their late 40s and 70s.
Each person has their own personality, routines, and interests, and your role is to help them live the life they choose.
What your days may include- Encouraging and supporting with household tasks
- Getting involved in the activities they love — gardening, beach trips, pub visits, café outings, and shopping
- Helping people maintain relationships with friends and family
- Supporting them to go on holidays in the future
- Providing personal care with dignity and encouragement (bathing, showering, toileting, shaving)
- Feeling confident using wheelchairs when out in the community
- Supporting people who may sometimes display behaviours of distress
You'll be joining a team that truly cares — about the people we support and about each other.
Shift Patterns - A variety of shifts are available to support a healthy work-life balance:- 7:30am - 3:00pm
- 10:30am - 6:00pm
- 2:30pm - 10:00pm
- 1 sleep-in shift every other week
- Alternate weekends
