We're looking for a HGV Driver/Road Sweeper Operative to join our Anglian Water team based in Norwich.
Location: Norwich
Hours: 45 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role
Join our Anglian Water team where no days are the same in this dynamic role. You'll be part of a supportive environment working on a variety of schemes including repair and maintenance, new connections, district metering and complex mains repairs.
What will you be responsible for?As a HGV Driver/Road Sweeper Operative, you'll be working within the Anglian Water team, supporting them in maintaining essential water infrastructure. Your day to day will include:
-Driving commercial vehicles safely and undertaking all relevant vehicle checks
-Working collaboratively in a team to complete backfill and reinstatement tasks
-Ensuring compliance with quality standards for materials, compaction and overall work
-Using electronic tablets for job management and quality control records
-Transporting materials to support depots and maintaining clean work environments
What are we looking for?This role of HGV Driver/Road Sweeper Operative is great for you if:
-You hold a full driving licence with HGV Category C and a valid Driver CPS Licence
-You have a lorry loader/grab qualification (claim shell ticket)
-You possess an NRSWA street work operatives card covering units 001-006
-You enjoy collaborative work and building relationships with colleagues
-You're committed to safety, care for the environment, and delivering quality work
