A well-established M&E contractor is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Document Controller to join their project team on a major construction development in Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy project environment working alongside experienced engineering and delivery teams on a technically demanding scheme.
Role Overview:
As the project Document Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, compliant, and up-to-date project documentation throughout the lifecycle of the build. You will support engineering, commercial, and site teams by managing document workflows, ensuring strict revision control, and maintaining smooth information flow between all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all project documentation including technical submittals, drawings, RFIs, and QA records

Maintain strict version control and ensure documentation aligns with project standards and procedures

Upload, track, and distribute documents using EDMS platforms
-
Coordinate information flow between engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams
-
Maintain document registers, logs, trackers, and reporting records
-
Support compilation of O&M manuals, commissioning packs, test documentation, and handover files

Ensure full compliance with project document control procedures and workflows
Requirements:

3–4+ years’ experience as a Document Controller within M&E or construction contractor environments

Strong experience using Aconex (EMS), Procore, SharePoint, and Adobe / Bluebeam
-
Good understanding of construction documentation processes and revision control
-
Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Comfortable working in a fast-paced live project environment

Stable work history within construction projects
