Summary
As a Chef working at Avondale you will have a range of responsibilities, including:
• Creating, presenting and delivering nutritious meals to a high standard of quality
• Developing varied and interesting menus that take into account healthy eating guidelines and any dietary and nutritional requirements
• Tailoring meals based on our resident’s preferences as well as their changing dietary needs
• Supervising and motivating the catering team, ensuring all activities comply with company Food Safety policies, guidelines and statutory regulations
• Monitoring the catering budget and food stock ordering
• Supporting the provision of catering operations in line with the company’s policies and procedures
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety within the kitchen/s
