Summary
The Role: This role combines clinical practice with nursing leadership. Whether you are a Practice Nurse or Nurse Practitioner, you will provide expert patient care, and as Nurse Manager, you will lead and develop the nursing team, ensuring high standards, excellent clinical governance, and a positive, collaborative culture. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties (depending on your level of practice) Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions Provide telephone, video, and face-to-face consultations Prescribe and review medications (for Nurse Practitioners) Conduct or arrange diagnostic tests and interpret results Support and mentor practice nurses and HCAs Leadership & Management Lead, manage, and develop the nursing team Oversee workload allocation and skill-mix Drive clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement Foster a supportive, learning-focused team culture Collaborate with management and GPs to meet practice priorities Education & Development Support training and development for staff and students Maintain your own professional development and revalidation Act as a mentor and clinical leader, promoting excellence in patient care Key Information: Hours: Flexible, 25 - 37.5 hours/week Leave: 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays and a birthday day off Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience
