Summary
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients, maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect always. Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living, promoting independence where appropriate. Undertake and accurately record routine clinical observations (e.g. blood pressure, pulse, temperature, urinalysis, height, weight, BMI, glucose monitoring) and promptly escalate abnormal results to registered staff. Carry out delegated clinical and diagnostic procedures within own competence and training, including specimen collection, venepuncture, ECGs, wound care, pre-assessment diagnostics, and assistance in procedure clinics. Assist with medication-related activities (including eye drops and medication storage) strictly in accordance with training, competency assessments, and local policy. Perform High Level Decontamination of Scopes in line with training and competence Work within Outpatients and Pre-Assessment
