Summary

Female Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker

About the Direct Payment Holder A young lady recovering from encephalitis is seeking a small team of PAs to offer 2:1 support her with personal care, transfers and feeding. Also 1:1 support to access the community and take part in various activities.
Hours and rate of pay hours Monday to Sunday – Hours to be arranged
Location Leicester (LE5)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
What you would be doing… Support with showering, pad changes, rotunda transfers, commode care, feeding and medications
Meals are already prepared – will need to warm it up. May need to support with laundry.
Support with accessing the community and taking part in activities.

Required skills and experience Seeking Female Pas who have empathy, are patient, kind and understanding.
Someone with experience and willingness to work and accommodate Indian and Muslim culture
Experience caring for younger adults with brain injury.
Experience caring for people with mental health needs.
As some personal care is involved, I would feel more comfortable with a female carer. This advert complies with the Sex Discrimination Act (1975) Section 7 (2b).
