Summary

Cover Supervisor – Full-time and part-time roles available from ASAP These flexible opportunities are ideal for support staff who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Enfield and the surrounding areas.Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task
• Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide support to students in understanding lesson content
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Liaise with teaching staff to report on pupil progress and behaviour
• Support the wider school team with administrative or pastoral tasks as required

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confident delivering instructions and engaging with pupils
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to new environments quickly
• A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
