Our client is looking for a Stores Assistant to carry out a project for around 4-6 weeks.
Duties of a Stores Assistant will include:
• Offload and unpack deliveries from suppliers, check, book in and locate the goods.
• Ensuring Cycle Counting is up to date.
• Pick and issue goods for Manufacturing.
• Driving of a light goods vehicle for deliveries and collections.
• Pick, pack and despatch goods for spares.
• Driving of a FLT
• Carrying out any other duties that can reasonably be assessed to be part of the role.
• Carrying out the duties in a manner that safeguard the post holder’s own health and safety, as well as that of his/her colleagues.
To be considered for the role of Stores Assistant you must have:
A full UK driving license.
In date external FLT licence.
Available for the full 4–6 week assignment.
