Summary
Year 4/5 Class Teacher – Thornton-Cleveleys
Humly is recruiting a Year 4/5 Class Teacher to join a primary school on a temporary basis.
This is a full-time role starting 13 April 2026 and continuing until 20 July 2026. This position would suit a confident Key Stage 2 teacher who can deliver structured, engaging lessons and maintain a positive classroom environment throughout the summer term.
What You’ll Be Doing
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to Year 4/5 pupils
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to support development
Implement classroom strategies to manage behaviour effectively
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach across the curriculum
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
What You’ll Bring
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally mixed-age classes
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to engage and motivate pupils
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Pay
Non-AWR: £120+ per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
