Summary

Primary Teacher – Workington

Humly is recruiting a Primary Teacher to join a primary school on both short-term and long-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and continuing for flexible durations. This role would suit an experienced teacher looking to provide high-quality teaching and learning support in a dynamic primary school environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum

Assess and monitor pupil progress to inform planning and interventions

Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop teaching resources

Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

Communicate with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and well-being

What You’ll Bring

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching across key stages in primary education

Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Pay
Non-AWR: £120+ per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)

Enhanced DBS required (Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator)
