Summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced HLTA to support a welcoming and forward‑thinking Primary School based in Bristol.
The school has a supportive team, a positive learning environment, and offers ongoing CPD throughout the academic year.
Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a long‑term position.
- Location: Bristol
- Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday
- Day Rate: £100 - £130
- Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm
- HLTA qualification or relevant higher‑level classroom experience
- Previous experience working in a UK primary school
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting whole‑class teaching, small groups, and 1:1 interventions
- Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs (Autism, Speech & Language needs, SEMH)
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willing to complete)
- Strong command of English
- Experience within healthcare or pastoral roles is desirable but not essential
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional, child‑related references covering the last two years
