As a School-Based Health & Care Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and healthcare professionals to ensure students receive the personalised care they need to thrive in school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils with medical needs, mobility assistance, and personal care
- Assisting with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and classroom adaptations
- Helping implement individual healthcare plans alongside medical professionals
- Monitoring pupil wellbeing and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting inclusion during lessons, break times, and school activities
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in working with children or young people in education or healthcare settings
- Knowledgeable about supporting pupils with medical and additional needs
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- A confident communicator and collaborative team member
- Willing to undertake relevant training and development
First aid experience is desirable but not essential.
- Competitive daily rate of £98 per day
