Year 5/6 Teacher – Blackpool
Humly is recruiting a Year 5/6 Teacher to join a primary school on a long-term basis.
This is a full-time role starting at the beginning of the spring term and continuing through to the end of the summer term. The position would suit an experienced primary practitioner who is confident teaching upper Key Stage 2, including mixed-age planning and preparing pupils for end-of-year expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 5/6 curriculum
Preparing pupils for end-of-Key-Stage expectations, including SATs readiness where required
Assessing, tracking and monitoring pupil progress
Differentiating learning to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners
Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
What You’ll Bring
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2
Confidence delivering the full primary curriculum
Strong behaviour management skills
Experience planning for mixed-age or mixed-ability classes
A proactive and organised approach to assessment and classroom practice
Pay
Non-AWR: £120+ per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
