Summary
Job Title: Substation Civils Operative (Groundworks)
Location: Monks Fryston, Leeds, Ls25
Duration: 3 Months
Start Date: 18th February 2026
Hours: 45 hours per week (07:30 - 17:00)
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Civils Operatives for a 3-month substation project in Monks Fryston. The role is focused on groundworks and ducting installation within an operational substation environment.
Key Duties:
· Installation of ducting systems associated with high voltage cabling
· General groundworks including excavation, backfilling, and reinstatement
· Safe operation of Forward Tipping Dumper and Roller
· Working to client specifications and strict site safety procedures
Essential Requirements:
· EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) - Substsation Persons
· CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper / Roller / 360 Excavator
· Proven groundworks / civils experience (substation experience preferred)
· Own PPE (Hard hat, steel toe boots, hi-vis, gloves)
· Willing and able to work 07:30 - 17:00
