Summary
Neway International are seeking a Housing Administrator to join our client based with Nottingham Community Housing Association.
Location: Clifton Place, 9 Fairham Brook Drive, Nottingham, NG11 8PY
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: 23/02/2026
Duration: initally for 6 months, likely to be extended
Working Pattern: 2 days office‑based, 3 days remote

The Role
The Housing Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support across the Homes & Wellbeing directorate. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient processes, supporting financial administration, managing communications, and ensuring accurate data entry to help the service operate smoothly during a peak in workload.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality administrative support to teams across Homes & Wellbeing.
Administer financial systems and procedures, including processing invoices in line with agreed processes.
Manage the HW Services inbox on a rota basis, responding to internal and external enquiries.
Handle incoming phone calls and take appropriate action to resolve queries.
Produce mail merge letters and standard documents for councils and utility companies.
Make outbound calls to councils, utility providers, and debt collection agencies.
Record accurate housing benefit information on the One Housing System.
Use Excel spreadsheets confidently to support reporting and administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements
Strong administrative experience, ideally within housing or a customer‑focused environment.
Confident using financial systems and processing invoices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage shared inboxes and handle enquiries professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise workload effectively.
