The Role

As a Procurement Manager, you will work within a close-knit team to support the Senior Management Team in delivering high-value services across multiple clients. You will apply a high degree of rigour and thoroughness to ensure all procurement processes and governance meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting clients in developing procurement strategies from project inception to completion.
• Preparing full procurement suites, including contract folders, specifications, KPIs, and price frameworks.
• You will also ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, ethical sourcing, and diversity initiatives.
• Acting as a central point of contact for clients and contractors, managing clarifications, assessment summaries, and technical marking moderation.
• Leading client meetings, preparing agendas, and delivering accurate data and pricing analysis reports.
• Evaluating and providing feedback to contractors and service providers to ensure the best outcomes for our schemes.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Public Sector Expertise: Demonstrable experience in public sector procurement, with a strong understanding of the Procurement Act 2023.
• Analytical Mindset: Proven ability in data/pricing analysis and managing high contract value processes.
• Critical Thinking: The ability to understand complex processes and make informed judgements to solve client problems.
• Technical Proficiency: High-level capabilities in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to formulate complex information into clear messages for various audiences.
• Accountability: A track record of taking ownership of projects and maintaining high quality throughout their lifecycle.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Working towards CIPS or PRINCE 2 qualified.
• Working knowledge of the Section 20 leaseholder consultation process.
• Broad understanding of the social housing sector.
