Key Responsibilities
As a School Nurse, your key responsibilities will include assessing and providing nursing care to students, developing and implementing health plans, providing health education and advice, and working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to promote student wellbeing. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing medical supplies, and adhering to school policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with experience working in a school or similar setting. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents. A strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
