We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher to work within a specialist setting in Walsall.
This role carries full teaching responsibility, including planning, preparation, assessment, and progress tracking. The successful candidate will work with a small class of pupils with mixed abilities and diverse SEND needs, delivering tailored and engaging lessons that support both academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:-
Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons in line with pupils’ individual needs

Take full responsibility for classroom teaching, assessment, and behaviour management

Support pupils with a range of SEND needs, including Autism (ASC) and ADHD

Create a structured, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals

Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews, reports, and EHCP targets

Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:-
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD
-
Have experience working with small classes with mixed abilities and complex needs
-
Have previous experience in an SEND school or a similar SEND-focused role within a primary school

Be adaptable, patient, and confident in delivering personalised learning

Have the right to work in the UK

Be able to provide two references from recent employers
-
Hold a DBS on the Update Service
or be willing to complete a new DBS check through TeacherActive
