At Phoenix House, young people will find more than a place to stay, they’ll find a place to grow, feel safe, and truly belong. Our approach is built on strong relationships, openness, and respect, ensuring every young person feels heard, valued, and supported.
We’re creating a warm, family‑like home powered by a dedicated team of compassionate, skilled professionals. Our staff will champion new ideas, drive positive change, and help build a nurturing environment where young people can thrive emotionally, socially, and personally.
If you want to be part of shaping a new home from the ground up and make a real difference in the lives of young people, Phoenix House is the perfect place to grow your career.

About The Role
As a Support Worker, you will be part of a passionate and supportive team, providing consistent, nurturing care to young people with a range of emotional, social, and developmental needs. No two days are the same, from supporting daily routines and education, to outdoor activities and personal growth, your role will have a direct, positive impact on the lives of the young people in your care.
You’ll help create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment, building trust and strong relationships while supporting young people to develop resilience, independence, and confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Deliver personalised, trauma-informed care that meets the individual needs of each young person
- Support daily routines, education, activities, and family contact
- Build meaningful relationships through empathy, consistency, and effective communication
- Contribute to key working sessions, handovers, and accurate record-keeping
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals
- Undertake sleep-in shifts and flexible working hours to meet the needs of the home
- Identify and report risks, safeguarding concerns, and opportunities for improvement

About You
We’re looking for people who bring heart, dedication, and curiosity to their work. You’ll be:

- Caring, empathetic, and emotionally resilient
- A calm, thoughtful communicator who can build trust quickly
- Organised, reliable, and flexible
- Passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their potential
- Committed to working towards (or already holding) Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England)

Why Join Phoenix House?
When you join Phoenix, you have the opportunity to be apart of the core team that leads us to success and ensures that the young people have the best start to their new journey.
We offer:

- Comprehensive training and development opportunities
- Flexible working through our bank system
- 24/7 emotional and wellbeing support
- A warm, supportive culture where your ideas are welcomed
- The chance to make a real difference every day, helping young people feel safe, supported, and empowered
