The Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Engineer to carry out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and upgrading of Fire Alarm and AOV systems.
This role involves working across a mix of domestic and commercial properties, predominantly within the social housing and local authority sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret fire alarm and AOV drawings and specifications

Install, service, maintain, repair, and adapt fire alarm and AOV systems

Complete full system installations and upgrades

Conduct scheduled servicing, inspections, and fault finding

Work confidently with a wide range of fire alarm control panels and equipment, including closed protocol systems

Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and BS 5839 regulations

Accurately complete job reports and certification via a digital job management system

Adhere to current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards

Attend and complete all company-provided training

Participate in performance reviews and development programmes

Liaise effectively with office teams and supervisors to resolve queries

Work to agreed KPIs and operational standards

Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
FIA training and certification
FIA AO Level 3 in Fire Detection & Alarm Design Theory and Regulatory Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience within the fire safety industry
Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
