The Best Connection are looking for a Service Driver on behalf of our client.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious driver to join a busy depot team. The role involves the delivery, collection, servicing, and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Delivery and collection of portable toilets and welfare units
- Multi-drop servicing (emptying, cleaning, refilling chemicals, replenishing consumables)
- Steam cleaning, basic repairs, and preparation of units before dispatch
- Planning and organising daily service schedules efficiently
- Accurate completion of paperwork (authorised signatures, damages, fleet numbers)
- Safe loading and unloading of equipment (strapping/chaining/roping)
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Testing electrical fittings prior to dispatch in line with legal requirements
- Ensuring waste is disposed of in accordance with company procedures
- Adhering to all Health & Safety legislation and customer site rules
- Operating forklift trucks when required
- Using and downloading digital tachographs where applicable
- Supporting general depot and workshop duties
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Previous multi-drop or service driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
A Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am - 4:00pm (Job and Finish)
