Your Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Supervisor to join us to support the delivery of our ambitious events programme. You will be working as part of the Stockport Events Team at a variety of impressive Venues including Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall and Chadkirk Chapel.
You will oversee food and beverage service at all of our award winning Venues. You will provide support to the Event Managers and the Operations manager and assist with the operational delivery of events for up to 500 people. Responsibilities will include;
- Food and Beverage delivery at Events across all Venues.
- Overseeing event hospitality service to ensure client expectations are met.
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Supporting and training the food and beverage assistants.
- Bar and cellar management at all Venues which includes but is not limited to; ordering bar stock, supporting monthly bar stock takes, cleaning beer lines and cashing up tills at the end of the shift.
- Weekly function sheet meetings with relevant departments to ensure the successful delivery of all events.
- Safe evacuation of premises in the event of emergencies arising during a function.
- First Aid provision
This position includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays and includes late finishes after the hours of midnight. Applicants must be over the age of 18.
