The Role
Working in a busy revenues office, you’ll be involved in maintaining customer records and helping to maximise the collection of council tax and non-domestic rates arrears. You’ll play a key part in training by demonstrating the team’s duties to new employees. You will also have a role in dealing with enquiries from customers and be influential in making decisions in individual cases.
About You
With demonstrable organisational skills, you will be expected to plan, develop and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines. You must possess excellent all-round communication and customer service skills, with the ability to be sensitive and diplomatic in challenging situations. Working as part of a team, you will also be skilful at building and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues. You’ll also be able to demonstrate knowledge of training methods to provide training to new employees.
