A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK Care Assistant to work 36 hours per week from 8am to 8pm to include alternative weekends A day in the life of a Care Assistant Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement Personal care -supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care. Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams. Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages. Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks. Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility. Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
