Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client, working within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role involves hands‑on production work, quality checking, and working with paint products to meet customer specifications.
Your Role as a Production Operative
- Working in a chemical manufacturing setting
- Quality checking finished products to ensure customer standards are met
- Colour matching and tinting paints (solvent & water‑based, solid and metallic shades)
- Applying paint using spray equipment
- Loading and unloading machinery
- Physical lifting required - weights up to 16kg / 25kg
- Supporting general production duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment desirable
- Ability to carry out physical tasks including regular lifting
- Good attention to detail, especially for colour matching
- Willingness to learn tinting and spraying techniques
- Reliable, hardworking and able to follow instructions
- Positive team‑focused attitude
Pay & Shifts
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
- £12.21 per hour
