Summary

This is the ideal role for someone looking to take their first steps in a career in procurement, giving you the opportunity to learn the ropes while keeping our systems running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to expert for system users, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently, issues are resolved promptly and accurate information is available to support sound commercial decisions.

This role reports to the Director of Procurement and Cost.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our procurement, finance and property systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a great user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting end-to-end e-procurement processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipting and invoice matching.
  • Taking ownership of system queries and issues, following them through to resolution.
  • Maintaining system configurations such as user access, approval hierarchies and permissions.
  • Supporting system upgrades, enhancements and new module implementations.
  • Maintaining accurate supplier, contract, asset and property data to support strong governance and control.

About You

You are organised, methodical and naturally curious about how systems and processes work. You take pride in accuracy, enjoy solving problems and are motivated by helping others work more effectively.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience in an administrative, systems, finance or procurement support role (or a relevant qualification).
  • Confidence working with data, processes and transactional systems.
  • A strong eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Confident IT skills, including MS Office (particularly Excel).
  • A clear, professional communication style and a helpful, approachable manner.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn.
  • Integrity, discretion and respect when handling sensitive financial information.

Experience with e-procurement, finance or asset management systems is desirable but not essential.

Benefits

Our rewards package includes:

  • Discounted hotel stays around the globe, with food and beverage discounts.
  • Attractive discounts across many major retailers, restaurants, and events.
  • FREE and UNLIMITED access to our Leisure Clubs (gym, pool, steam rooms).
  • Personal and career development
  • Round the clock access to the Employee Assistance programme, offering mental health and wellbeing support, financial and legal advice.

Next Steps

A member of our recruitment team will be in touch to arrange a 15-minute phone conversation with shortlisted candidates. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the role and for us to understand your experience in more detail. If successful at this stage, you will be invited to meet with the Director of Procurement & Cost.

We review applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out. We may close the role once we’ve found the right person.
