We are expanding our team and are looking for a motivated and enthusiasticPharmacy Technicianto join our dedicated Emergency Department (ED) team at Frimley Park Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality medicines management within a dynamic acute setting.

Our Pharmacy Department is forward-thinking and progressive, committed to providing a modern, patient-focused hospital pharmacy service. You will be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team and encouraged to contribute ideas that enhance patient care and service delivery.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational and patient-facing skills, and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines.

Your contribution will play a key role in the continued growth and enhancement of our patient-centred pharmacy services.

As a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician in ED, you will:
• Deliver a comprehensive medicines management service within the Emergency Department
• Provide expert advice and practical support to clinical staff on medicines-related matters
• Promote the safe, effective and economical use of medicines
• Undertake a range of technical pharmacy duties to ensure high standards of pharmaceutical care
• Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement
• Work collaboratively with the wider pharmacy and ED teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes

About You

We are seeking someone who:
• Is a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), or a Pre-Registration Student eligible for registration this year
• Demonstrates strong initiative and a proactive approach
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Is committed to maintaining high professional standards
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
